About Me

Hello! Thanks for checking out the blog!

So I am Kara Mullins. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.

I started ArtSea Productions not so long ago in 2010, but I have been in the industry for the last 5 years. I received my degree in Applied Design & Visual Arts in 2006 thinking I would be a graphic designer, but I fell in love with video editing!!! I started searching and the next thing I know I landed a job at BP Texas City. I have been filming, editing and photographing for them since October 2006.  I have always loved photography and video. I can remember taking my grandpa’s video camera and making music videos when I was very young.  I also come from a very talented and creative family!! Everyone in my family is artistic. My father is a photographer, my mother and sister are studio artist and my brother is a musician.

I was born, raised and live on Galveston Island. I am a BOI. I am very fortunate to have my friends and family so close. Being raised on the island gave me a love for the ocean. When I was just a little kiddo my dad put me on a surfboard…and I was hooked! My love for surfing lead to a love for travel. I am always planning my next adventure.

All of my passions go hand in hand. They allow me to meet new people and see new things. Whether it’s a new country or a new client I get to expand my horizons!

I love to document life and all the wonderful events we are so privileged to have!!!
